@craigcaughran @jasonhickel it’s pretty much a scam yes – basically, a bank is just issuing an IOU, but as Keynes noted, if the bank lends you 100k in made-up dollars, what are you going to do? Put it under the pillow? No you’ll put it in the bank again. -100k+100k=0
