@Anarchaeologist @davidwengrow time & time again I’ve seen authors write – even start their work, with lines like, “I know people will say this is a conspiracy theory but it isn’t, what I’m really arguing is X” and then watched reviews simply ignore them & say they’re proposing a conspiracy theory, etc
