@DNshur @FocaalBlog when he was coming up, it was just assumed that if you prove you have something important to say to the world, even if you’re otherwise entirely impractical, at least you’ll be ensured the minimal basics, food & a desk & place to live. Nowadays, this is simply no longer true.
