@sputnik1984_ @CountLustig @WasonJulian @lenoretaylor @R_Chirgwin fwiw the most compelling definition of “stupidity” I’ve seen is that it’s an act of will; anyone can be clueless, true stupidity is when on learning your first impression was mistaken, you just dig in your heels & insist even more loudly that it HAD to be somehow right anyway
