@FistfulOfGitane @DinaPomeranz @taylordtheology I think the answer is obvious. The last thing they want to do is engage with the arguments of the essay. The entire point of the exercise is to try to discourage people from finding out what those arguments even are. This is why I say it’s a fear reaction.
