@DrCameronMurray @lacurvafiesole yes there’s a standard playbook I’ve seen them use on critics of all sorts: find some line where a difference of emphasis or interpretation (usually tangential to the argument) can be represented as an “error” & refuse to talk about anything else. It’s a kind of panic reaction.
