@aliceraeherman @m_r_cummings I’d thought it was rooted in a sense of entitlement, assumed superiority, assuming ignorance on the part of the woman. I’d therefore thought this scenario was the very opposite: I kept assuming shared knowledge & understanding, & she’d say “No I demand you explain.”
