@keithalexander there was a ’50s or ’60s scifi book my dad liked, I think called “zotz” on that basis. Some guy discovered he could point at someone say “zotz” and they’d drop dead. He tried to make the world a better place, but whoever dropped dead, an even worse guy replaced him.
