@MarijaHolm @JulieBillaud I think what she is asking is not why people take such jobs, but why society is arranged in such a way everyone needs to work 9-to-5 or more to pay for housing, health, etc, even if half the jobs created to make it possible are unnecessary. Society after all is just “us”
