@odyipus @davidwengrow @CitizenStout @Eurozine @RianeEisler yes there are plenty non-egalitarian h/gs and speaking of “state-like entities” being stratified is basically circular as states are themselves forms of stratification. You ignore the 90% of human organisation that lies in between.
