I have a friend who went to the Woodrow Wilson School of public policy at Princeton who swore to me he took a course in value-free ethics.

1st thought: saying person is “rational” is just saying they’re not crazy. Saying ones politics r based on “rationality” =ultimate arrogance

now on to section about rationality as a form of spirituality or even mysticism. Han Joas’ Gnostic Religion helpful here.
