I’m an anthropologist, sometimes I occupy things & such.

I see anarchism as something you do not an identity...

...so don’t call me the anarchist anthropologist

since they didn’t bother to show up, they could refuse to report even clearly documented indiv acts of violence because of lack of “context”

6

point though is if any journalists had done their jobs & actually shown up they’d have known perfectly well this was happening constantly

5

on the same 40 second clip there’s a cop threatening to arrest another woman for using 4-letter words. Overt threat of false arrest

4

was told instead they couldn’t say it happened without whole tape for “context” & wanted to speak to the victim.

5

then demand absolute standards of proof – I provided video of cops grabbing woman, throwing her to ground, leaving her…couldn’t be clearer

8

this seems to be the journalistic mode: don’t cover the story, except protestors to do all the journalistic work for them

there wasn’t a single professional journalist at the #OccupySH event yesterday. So protestors had to prove all claims themselves

what a day! From Academic Board at LSE to planning seminar w Roy Bhaskar to documenting police brutality at Senate House

4

Remember everyone: 3 pm ULU tomorrow, Thursday, cops off campus. After what happened today…

8

6 riot vans finally appear at Senate House – cops burst into foyer, fork phalanx at door, … http://t.co/3MEso75M8l http://t.co/QrVEtHaB47

U of Lindin announcing immanent violent eviction of Senate a house occupies. Do get down here!

2

Police are conferring inside. They’ve locked down the building so no one can join the occupation http://t.co/yj5aVVwRJH

The other question is are there any universities that still don’t allow police on campus? Athens Polytechnic is gone. Do any remain?

7

I have heard that in many Medieval universities, particular in S. Europe, students would elect their professors. Is this true?

5

We’re not allowed to hate. We are told to be ashamed of our hate. The only hate we’re allowed is consumerist hate ie of cheese or boy bands

Apparently the new Yale lie is I neglected my students. Funny, at the time they said I spent too much time on & was too nice to them.
