I’m an anthropologist, sometimes I occupy things & such.

I see anarchism as something you do not an identity...

...so don’t call me the anarchist anthropologist

best response (from one of .@nikadubrovsky’s Russian friends): “God must really hate money because he gave it all to such awful people.”

A. Lincoln: God must really love the poor since he made so many of them h.L.Mencken: he must love the rich even more because he gave them all that money.

ok I can say it: my entire experience of Paul Mason was either 1. saying “we should meet about strategy” & him saying “definitely” then blowing me off, & 2. him letting my mate buy him a drink, lecturing him on working class values, then buggering off w/out buying the next round

this is crucial because it’s classic bullying (stream of unprovoked aggression, followed by demand to be treated as equal to aggressee): the real debate here is, to what degree should bullying be rewarded, even if it means giving up one’s most cherished dreams. https://t.co/9qEwMOlowJ

can someone else deal with this guy? I’m busy researching 16-17C Iroquoian political philosophies & I really don’t want to have to go thru yet another exercise of “that’s not remotely what I said” for hours and hours https://t.co/omwXMhZH71

When people say Starner would “unite the party” what they really mean is “we understand now that the Labour right are such nihilistic, vindictive bastards that they’ll campaign against their own party if they don’t get their way & we feel this behaviour should be rewarded.”

excellent piece about productivity by .@blair_fix I remember looking at a sector-by-sector chart & it included the “productivity” of real estate. Huh? What’s the productivity of real estate? https://t.co/aclqam8ijU

Here’s an interesting dilemma. I won’t write for the mock left press any more because it legitimates their attacks on the real left. But what about the Torygraph? Everyone already knows what they’re about. They asked me to write a comment piece.

I feel bad for the protestors on the streets in Iran. They had the gov’t genuinely scared, braved hundreds of killings… then of course Trump intervened & popular opinion shifted massively to the government. A lot of good people are going to suffer in the resultant repression.

I suppose there is that possibility that Trump actually wanted US troops out of the ME all along & was actually being rather clever about trying to find a way to do it that wouldn’t look weak. Not sure. But possibly. https://t.co/AqEQs52gEG

the Blairites aren’t REALLY taking over the Labour Party are they? (I’m out of the country this last week.) If they do, forget it, I’m going to have to move to France or Germany.

evidence: Erdogan announced in advance he intended to commit war crimes in the invasion of Afrin and NE Syria, and there was almost no condemnation by the UN & “Int’l Community” which largely supported unprovoked attack & ethnic cleansing 3/

even when Hitler & Stalin were fighting it out, they never tried to just blow each other up. (They didn’t use chemical weapons either.) Somethings is seriously changed. The “laws war where rarely observed in practice, but now they are trying too change the rules themselves. 2/

I’m not myself at all upset when powerful men decide to assassinate each other, rather than kill a bunch of innocent drafted kids, but there’s reasons they don’t normally like to set precedents in this sort of area. King of Spain almost executed Pizarro for killing the Inca 1/

God I hope this is true – I mean he’s so obviously just saying whatever it is members want to hear then once leader he’ll switch to saying whatever it is the pundits want to hear & then come manifesto time he’ll switch to whatever it is rich people want to hear https://t.co/SSgEBLGxii

yes it’s not senseless at all. That would imply there was no purpose behind it. There was a purpose. The purpose was to intimidate and terrify. https://t.co/0GNc4LTYoJ

meanwhile hundreds of white supremacists are joining the German police and MI5 just to make sure it doesn’t work https://t.co/XZu63LCIEq

The bottom line is that we “Hard” leftists Jewish or Goyim, wouldn’t attack but would lay down our lives to defend Jewish communities vs anyone who wish to terrorize or kill them. The hard right has elements who would attack Jews & would certainly NOT lay down lives to defend us https://t.co/vgumVwvjYa

here’s my talk at #36c3 the Chaos Computer Congress: “From Managerial Feudalism to the Revolt of the Caring Classes” https://t.co/VXpKx97a6N

I would say “make up your own caption” but then most likely all the space lizards and Russian spies would rush in to make up mean captions making fun of us https://t.co/bWSzeINnuQ

yes by no means go to Library Genesis or Sci-hub that would be wrong. Scholars certainly would never want their research to be freely available to other scholars or people who just find it interesting, God forbid. That might advance human knowledge! We can’t have that. https://t.co/rZxO5wzFSy

Despite widespread rumors to the contrary, it is NOT true that I went amongst the Kurds and they did not give me lentil soup. #AgahîyênSaxte

and interesting perspective, though I don’t think the Guardian makes too much money from its approach https://t.co/4KQUVS6d3U

if you add up false with misleading, 90% of Guardian news articles on IHRA controversy were designed to trick the reader into falsely believing Labour was institutionally #antisemitic. This was an historical crime against truth. Who were editors? They need to be shamed for this.
