@Donwyn6 yes but why then do the ideas people seem to hate each other so much? Why don’t they just debate ideas & remember their ultimate solidarity. So many treat anyone they disagree with on, say, tactics, as the equivalent of the far right

@antonnewcombe yes I’m living with two teenage boys who complain they’re tired and achy all the time too. So i need to put things in perspective. How are you surviving, Anton? Seems like you’ve been spared the worst.

@SirPaulHartley this information is very important. Could you contact the people conducting the inquiry & provide the details? info@fordeinquiry.org

@SirPaulHartley believe me I know. We need to expose the links. I new media and new popular education infrastructure is needed. Resources exist to start creating this.

@failedanarchist well the phrase “plausible deniability” has a somewhat different pedigree originally, as we all know

@RadikaleLiebe possibly but I can’t do google translate on a voice recording: what’s up?

@rattlecans very little, if I exert myself I fall sick again. It’s endlessly frustrating. Last time I felt good I walked 15 kilometres. Next day I was flat on my back again. Maybe a picnic?

@SirPaulHartley this stuff needs to come out & it needs to either be forced down the throats of the mainstream media, or we need to boycott them. It’s just fucking ridiculous. Literally 3000 stories a year on “Labour AS” and none on any of this

@JoeRRyle This corresponds completely to what I was hearing at the time from numerous friends who worked w McDonnell & Corbyn: Blairites controlled all the mechanisms of power, made it impossible for them to get anything done, then screamed to the press daily that they were bad managers

@nikau_mr @davidwengrow well we have very nice olive oil in London, but this is whatever was lying around, the flat is largely occupied by a Russian pianist

@davidwengrow Out here on the perimeter there are no stars – I semi-cited that in my first book, on Madagascar

@avi_khalil @Julio_Linares_ it was in Venice during the Bienale, there was a show just of his stuff

@AgathoniaMedia @Prof_Alistair @micmac9 well I’d be happy if someday it is of interest only as an historical document.

@Jpaul05Paul @davidwengrow well ten years in a sense, though we’ve done enough research for at least three more books and do intend to write them

1

@QuEbqx @davidwengrow it doesn’t have a title. Maybe we’ll call it “The Dawn of Everything”

@expressiveegg @davidwengrow You actually think we’re saying people were never free? Wow. Talk about kidding the point. The basic theme of the book is about how humans lost their fundamental freedoms

@NouriPen @whoops_uhoh @failedanarchist @SusiePeaceCora Oh yeah I’d forgot about that one. The one who followed me around attacking me over a piece about past abuse of my late mother & when I said wtf told me I was endangering her career!

@failedanarchist @SusiePeaceCora I wrote a little essay describing this as a technique fit discrediting dissidents and a veritable lynch mob of liberals descended on me engaged in purely personal attacks. They kept it up for years

@failedanarchist @SusiePeaceCora The most extreme example was a guy called Henry Farrell who write a “review” of debt as part of a Crooked Timber forum with obvious errors like saying I never quoted any sources for a passage in fact introduced by a block quote from one of said sources

@failedanarchist @SusiePeaceCora I usually block trolls quickly but it always surprises you when you see it coming from someone whose work you otherwise respect

@failedanarchist @SusiePeaceCora since I’d assumed that game of bait & denounce was basically something fascists do, it had never occurred to me that a comrade would be intentionally doing it to me. But in fact such practices have been commonplace, especially in the circles he’s now in
