@ezraklein – I was quite impressed. More or less got what I actually said, too, which I appreciate. Now Turkish TV is after me!

@Octaviano @washingtonpost – I’m from NYC. Nonvoluntary unemployment didn’t exist until a few hundred years ago. Nothing’s set in stone.

@Chattrspace_Joe – gotta talk to the tech people on that one. They’re easy to find.

@B_Endersstocker – if one group wants to be a permitted vigil, & the other does a real GA and occupation, everyone will join the latter

@B_Endersstocker – obviously don’t go to that. Why are there “organizers” anyway? This is supposed to be democratic.

@B_Endersstocker – sounds like it isn’t safe – but also, sounds like there are other groups in the city that more deserve the name

@B_Endersstocker – well u can tell them OWS was first organized mainly by anarchists and that it’s an act of civil disobedience I guess

@adamkotsko – I’m just glad someone noticed that despite my attempt to write accessibly, I am dealing with big philosophical issues here

@WilbotOsterman @OccupyWallSt – yes, was a definite act of civil disobedience that shut down bridge. Maybe cops tricked others in revenge

@JeffreyNewman – doesn’t saying we owe a debt to the earth, nature, etc, not imply that we are not ourselves part of the earth, nature, etc?

@NYPirateParty – oh basic tactics they can do. Also the Feds have been working with them apparently.

@ispotify1 @__safi__ @OccupyWallSt – no the city wants you to ask permission from the cops to march at all which we naturally won’t do

@karaspita – odd for me too. Tell everyone I miss them. But you can see I haven’t been wasting my time…

@muziejus @USDayofRage – yes, but it would seem the decision not to police J. P. Morgan has a lot to do with such bribery on all levels

@jsncrafrd – hilarious. The best fun was writing the bogus statements by both LG and SZ about why they couldn’t come.

@PlutocracyFiles – both were effective in that they identified the enemy and showed that a broad democratic form of resistance was possible

@PlutocracyFiles – the question is what sort of organizational centralization would be required to have a single message

@PlutocracyFiles – I dunno seems fair enough description just comes down on the other side. Might reply to Doug though

@PlutocracyFiles – it’s exactly how they reacted after Seattle. Can’t stand the idea some anarchist-oriented kids did something effective

@CasaAtreides – why am I guessing some things more than others? I’m sure there’s HUGE Tea Party files for instance…

@mikekish – I’d go for the latter. If the Fed just prints and distribute it, instead of all this QE1 and QE2 nonsense, that’d be ok too

@mikekish – problem with freakonomics piece – it assumes forgiveness is only good if it “stimulates the economy.” Misses the point entirely

@mikekish @davidgraeber – why not comprehensive debt forgiveness for everyone? The poor would surely benefit
